About Inner Surege:
Inner Surge is an intense, politically and emotionally charged metal/rock band from Calgary, Canada. The band has been described as “one of the best imports that Canada has to offer” by RWS Magazine. With an eclectic, intense approach, the band fuses metal, rock, punk, hardcore and progressive influences. As opposed to conforming to the ‘meathead’ mentality of heavy metal and hard rock, Inner Surge’s energy is focused on breaking those stereotypes down, and pushing boundaries, both lyrically and musically.

Mortiis is a band from Notodden, Norway fronted by Håvard Ellefsen, who is also known as the namesake of the band. The name is a misspelling of the word ‘mortis’, which is the pronunciation used by the band. Mortiis started as the solo project of Ellefsen as a means to convey a story. This aspect was lost over time and Mortiis slowly formed into a band.
